About Us

Torbot has been serving the needs of the medical community for over 50 years.  During this time as the Torbot Group, Inc. it has provided quality custom and standard ostomy products both direct and through its extensive network of distributors.  In 2003 Torbot acquired the Jobskin^® burn compression business from Smith & Nephew.  Jobskin was originally part of Jobst which began the use of compression for the treatment of lower extremity venous insufficiency more than 50 years ago.  Since its inception the company has continuously manufactured the products in Toledo, Ohio and continues to do so under the guidance of Torbot.

The Jobskin Division has a highly skilled workforce with a current average tenure of over 21 years.  The facility is FDA registered and GMP guidelines are followed with all manufacturing processes documented and strictly adhered to to insure quality products.

All garments are manufactured at our Jobskin Division including our newest line, Carissa^®.  We use computer aided design systems to design all products which are then cut with a laser or by hand if required.  Extensive process controls insure products of the highest quality are designed and manufactured to exacting specifications.

The Jobskin Division manufactures both custom and ready-to-wear compression garments.  Since we manufacture both types of garments we can insure that we will be able to produce a garment that fits.
